The first test consignment was exhibited at the
Moscow international exhibition "Boats, motor-launches and yachts", which took
place at Expocenter on Krasnaya Presnya. The production of VASO received a Gran Prix.
Afterwards a whole series of further tests followed and some things were re-done and
developed, in order to pass stringent tests of the Russian Certificate Issuing Body
(Rosstandard).
The carcass (panelling, stringers, ribs) of
all the ships is produced from heavy-duty alluminium alloy, which gives these boats an
advantage in durability and easy repairability before ships made from composite materials.
The usage of polyurethan enamel and high quality of the outside surface gives the ships
excellent working abilities. The ships have an unsinkable construction because boards are
filled in with penopolyurethan. All materials, which could suffer corrosion, have three
protection layers. Materials, which could grow mouldy, are not used.
Customers can choose, what colour ship they
want and choose what materials are to be used for the interior.
The ships, according to wishes of a
customer, can be equipped with any of the known outboard motors, remote controlled or
steering, but can also be supplied without them.
